Irish ceilidh band Ceilidh Tree have played for countless Irish weddings in England and a few in Ireland! We’ve performed on ITV for St Patrick’s Day and are regulars at the Irish Centre.

We can include well loved Irish jigs, reels and polkas and depending on the dancing experience, faves like Siege Of Ennis, Bridge Of Athlone, Waves Of Tory and Walls Of Limerick. We can also include slower waltzes like Shebeg Sheemore or Planxty Irwin and Irish singalong songs from bands like the Dubliners, Planxty and The Pogues. We can also book our amazing bodhrán player on request.

The ceilidh dance Virginia Reel is one of Ceilidh Tree’s all time favourites. We usually include it early on in a set as it’s so quick to teach and also helps us start with a bit of a bang. The dramatic formation with two long lines and that crucial final gallop in the Virginia Reel
